User Group: Housemakers between 40 to 59 years old who are struggling to squeeze the toothpaste to the end. They tend to conserve their money by utilizing leftover toothpaste. Nevertheless, they are having difficulties to squeeze from the bottom to the top section. This is because they need to put pressure on by folding it hard. Thus, housemakers need a toothpaste tube squeezer that allow them to use easily by putting less pressure on to squeeze it. Changes or Improvements to the design: - An antibacterial coating will help users to manage their toothpaste to be clean in wet conditions without getting water mold inside of a tube or on the surface of the toothpaste - Handle should have three parts rather than 4 parts to make users easy to put their fingers between these parts - Needs to have several holes to allow users to see whether their toothpaste got twisted inside of a tube - Changed the color of a tube to be white, which will allow users to feel clean while they are using this product. In General, color ‘white’ represents ‘cleanliness’ Description of Design Goal: My goal is to reduce the waste of leftover toothpaste when users throw out the remaining ones. Thus, I want to improve users’ need to figure out in order to squeeze the toothpaste all the way to the end. It will help them to conserve their money for buying toothpaste. Since users have to fold the toothpaste to the top and try to squeeze by putting a lot of pressure. It will make them throw away unwillingly because they can’t squeeze the amount of toothpaste. I would like to reduce the difficulty of using their leftover toothpaste in daily life.
