I replaced my toothbrush holder slide in V1 by narrowing the end, rather than using a screw and nut. It now only requires two pieces: simply slide the rod onto the frame. Insert the end with the handle first, followed by the other end for easy assembly. You'll need to bend the frame slightly, but this won't cause it to break. The frame features a flat area for laying on the bed. The knob/rod has built-in supports to prevent separation during printing. Print the knob/rod vertically, with the flat side facing down on the table.
