Autoquad.95 With max motor spacing of just under 95mm, the autoquad is a slightly trapezoidal frame with the front motors spaced a bit wider than the rear. I like the way trap-quads handle at speed, so I made this model to be able to tweak the spacing and add/remove stiffeners until i figured out what 'feels' best. The final decision (final. hah.) is 72mm front motors, 68mm rear motors, and stiffening bars on the back only. Designed for 8.5mm motors and the micro scisky FC. The Scisky press fits perfectly, and small tabs in the controller bay hold the FC level by supporting it from flat places on the chip. Uploaded two frame files, one has the motor cutouts at 8.5mm and the other at 8.6 - the motor bays are decagons to aid in press fitting. If printing in ABS, be sure to scale up a little bit to account for shrinkage if needed. I print in ABS with the "tight fit" model at 1.02 scale, 45mm/s, 0.3 layer height. The battery bay mounts on either the top or the bottom and is designed for turnigy 600mah 1s 35C batteries, the long skinny kind. Inner dims 29mm wide and 8.5mm tall. Attach a piece of rubber band across the gap cutout, poke holes in the band where the screws go through and mount the battery bay and the band together with two screws. A perfect battery holder for less weight than a strap. I'll be making more bays to accommodate different battery styles.
