I believe this last upload will be the FINAL since an issue i saw was that the screws hit the Carriages. Thank You EDIT: - Made m4 countersunk holes for the Z Extrusions SCREWS, so they wont hit, rub, and it'll be able to be lowered a bit more. - Made it a bit more fancy by giving a bit, and used FILLETS on EDGES. #Fillets are SEXC Parts Needed: - 8x M4 Screws, or cut down stock ones. - 8x M3 Screws(stock size) for the NEMA. Tired of the Stock CR10, or The TEVO Tornado Z AXIS motor mount? I sure as HELL am, and im sure many others are with the HORRIBLE, and flawed stock Z AXIS MOTOR MOUNT(IMO). The STOCK MOUNT HAS RESTRICTIONS, which interfere With the Z AXIS CARRIAGES TRAVEL HEIGHTS. Although the Stock Z AXIS MOTOR MOUNT is fairly stable, and holds the NEMAS pretty darn well. Im afraid to say that this is the only reason the stock mount is good for, and imo that is not ACCEPTABLE!! The StOCK Z AXIS MOUNT you cant lower, stiffen, nor make The BUILD PLATE more stable by lowering it, and Making the BED LEVELING SPRINGS LOWER, futhermore the stock mount has no ADJUSTABILITY!! IMO thats a HUGE NO NO!! We need Z Motor ADJUSTABILITY to properly square the Z AXIS LEAD SCREWS, and make them as straight as we possibly can. This will limit the Z from binding, allowing overall SMOOTHER Z AXIS Travel Smoother. Z travel is very important for many reasons, for example smooth layer transitions. Everything mentioned above is why i decided to make a better Z AXIS MOTOR. Hope you ladies, and gent like the design that David Pestel, and i whipped up real quick. there will be nothing, but benefits from it, and IMHO every machine with this style mount should use this mount.
