Floating barrel pouring waste. Simple design based on the many cups pouring coffee out there. I had some glow in the dark filament and figured I would go for something different. Steep angle of the barrel allows for better stability. I created a simple clip design to hold the barrel in place on the liquid when displayed. Place the liquid portion in the barrel. then put the clip in the opening keeping the flat side against the liquid and push it in as far as you want to secure the two parts together. I found you could push it all the way to the back if desired, but it is a little harder to get out if you want to change barrels. For anyone considering a smaller print size? setting cura to 60 percent size for all parts produces near perfect results. Any less and the strength of the fluid flow connections/s will become questionable. To print. Print the liquid in the orientation it stands in using tree supports. Barrel prints in the obvious orientation of closed base on the bed. print clip flat on the bed surface. The actual splash bit at the bottom of the flow was from somebody elses model. The way thingiverse now saves models doesnt save the details of the original uploader. To that end I cant say who made the splash at the bottom. The rest is all mine from around an inch from the floor level upwards.
