Toy Grenade Spinning Top

This is a toy spinning top modeled to resemble a hand grenade. in addition to the printed files a 0.5 inch diameter wooden dowel, 3 feet of string and a key-ring are needed to finish the top. Cut the dowel to 4 7/16 inches long and drill a 1/8 hole in the center of the dowel 7/16 inched down from the top. Insert the dowel into the bottom piece of the top with the hole in the dowel at the opposite end as the top bottom. Now tie the key-ring into the end of your string. Insert the bottom of the top into the top section. Stick the end of the string into the hole in the dowel and wind string around the dowel. Now pull on the key-ring while holding the top portion of the top and watch it spin.
