Toy Horse

Toy Horse

This horse is designed as a toy and approximates the sizing of similar animals in the Fisher Price toy line. It was recently updated so that the head, as well as the legs, move. The legs and heads are held to the body by printed pins. It should be relatively easy to print. I printed the body and legs upside down without support or raft. The head can be printed with the back of the neck laying on the printer surface. You may need a raft and support. I originally designed a printed tail, but decided it looks much better with one fabricated from a short segment of rope. I used clothesline and unraveled it after gluing the end into the body using silicone. Printed pins should be inserted to hold the legs in place, and yet permit their movement. You may wish to cut the pins in half, to make them easier to insert. I used OpenSCAD to design the various elements. I'm hoping to create other farm animals, if there is an interest on this forum.
