Toy Train Coal Tender (Brio etc.) This is a coal tender compatible with most wooden railways (Brio etc.). It is designed to match the locomotive https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3790522. It consists of 10 printed parts, two magnets (4mm diameter x 2 mm thick) and 2 axles 28 mm long cut from 2mm diameter steel rods. Some parts are keyed for accurate alignment and there are three different colours as shown in pictures. Print in PLA at 0.2mm layer height. Support is not needed. Assemble the wheels (check the train thing file for a mounting jig). Mount the wheels on the chassis and glue the retaining plate in place making sure no glue gets into the axle bores. Glue the coal into the hopper. Then, using the keys for alignment, glue the hopper onto the chassis. Finally, glue the two magnets in at both ends being careful to ensure they have opposite polarities and that the open side of the hopper faces the locomotive.
