<p>After recently getting about 17 rolls of PLA for $20, I gave my kids the opportunity to decide the next thing for me to print for each of them, whether I design it or it's off of the printables site. My 2 youngest (Age 4 and 5) requested me make toy walkie talkies, not ones that have electronics, just for pretend. With a standalone copy of Solidworks, I took to making a design from scratch. Gets a little hairy at 30 minutes remaining because of the bridging but seems to still do well with 5% infill. With $1.08 per walkie talkie and roughly 2 hours per, it's not bad. I don't see why you couldn't make it out of PETG. That would probably allow it to withstand the sun a little more. Note: When it gets to the holes at the top, the program jumps all over the place, now sure how to limit it nor if I should as I know part of this print requires the temperature to stay rather even to prevent warp. Final result weighs 35grams (1.2oz)</p>
