Toyota 4Runner 5th Gen - 3.5" Dash Speaker Mounts

<p>These mounts allow the replacement of the stock dash speakers with 3.5" aftermarket speakers.</p> <p>I designed these around the Infinity Reference REF-3022cfx 3.5" speaker - compare your speaker specs to these to see if the mount might work for your application. The mounting holes in these mounts are 76.5mm in diameter, and max speaker outer diameter is 89mm. I've included the STEP file if you want to remix/modify for your speakers.</p> <p>One item worth mentioning is that the stock mounting screws can be re-used in all locations except for inboard passenger side screw - I found a #10 x 1" sheet metal screw with washer to be an acceptable replacement.</p> <p>The screw holes for the speakers themselves are 3.5mm, which is designed so that a standard #8 machine screw will self tap into the plastic.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>Print with bottom of mount on build plate - supports will be necessary under the raised mounting tabs. Use PETG, ABS, etc due to heat resistance.</p>
