Dad recently noticed that the plastic of both of the keys for his car had cracked, and asked if I could print a replacement. "Sure, people have already made these, I've seen it" Well, there were some great designs on here that almost did the trick, but I had to make a few adjustments to make it work with Dad's car. The Panic and unlock buttons are symmetrical, so adding that hole was easy. I had to shorten the case and let the metal key stick out a further 1.5mm. This almost certainly makes the case weaker, but otherwise the key could not push far enough into the ignition lock when turning the car off which made it very difficult to remove from the car. Print the top, and then choose between the branded and unbranded bottom halves. Post-Printing Most of the holes will need to be drilled out, and some sanding and polishing or even acetone treatment may not be a bad idea. I used 4 M3x6 screws to hold the case together, and I stripped out the head of the original tiny screw that came from the original key/wanted more strength anyway so I replaced it with an M2x8 screw from the hardware store (I didn't write down the thread pitch, but you can look that up online/it was literally the only M2 screw they stocked)
