Here is another 3D model to print. This is an open differential from a toyota pickup but functions the same way as almost all other open differentials found in other cars. Functions just like the real thing. I you have already printed all my other things then you can just hook up the drive shaft and watch it turn. Check out my other things to find the drive shafts and axle housings. I have extra hardware for those that are interested in purchasing the bearings, screws, magnets, and 3mm shaft. Just email me. https://youtu.be/4adoP7vi9J4 Post-Printing The printing process is fairly straight forward. The cleanup process is fairly time consuming though. All the gear teeth will need to be cleaned of excess plastic and then sanded/filed smooth for best fitment. How I Designed This Everything was designed in SolidWorks. This was one of the more challenging things I have modeled due to the hypoid spiral bevel gears.
