Toys for boys - hand-lever draisine + Norry Every boy need a toy. Old boys use computers, small boys needs something simple. Here is model of hand-lever draisine based on Vikipedia articles - Draisine and Handcar. It was used also for track checking. Reproduction of driving mechanism (patent by George S.Sheffield) based on animation in Handcar article. Should work. Direction of movement depends of which lever is pushed first. In addition Cambodian Norry based on Vikipedia article Norry. It is simple metal frame on small rolls from tanks. Frame is filled with bamboo sticks. Formerly pushcar, now mostly motorised. Now used as tourist attraction.
