Old boys use computers, small boys need other toys. here is replica of rim-driven thruster found in Wikipedia article. 1 version is retractable to use with other boats (print2==10) 2nd is for our push tug with thruster, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5522126 (include lines under print2=1 into code https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5574153). I made it double. Print 2xrotor half, glue and secure in thruster tunnel by 2 glued rings. 3rd is a challenge to make it workable (print2==9). Rotor is secured in thruster tunnel by 2 rings and rotated by wheel located in watertight chamber.Wheel is driven on the side by motor located in the shell with rubber ended shaft. No guarantee, that it will work.
