University Assignment The task was to sculpt a charakter from Heros of the Storm. The goal was to get as close as possible to the original. We should also paint the texture but I didn’t make it in time so I had to skip it. Same for the weapons. This is my first high poly model but I hope you still like it. I am a big fan of Overwatch and of course Tracer. So I was happy to take on the challenge. And a challenge it was. I made maybe two or three easy sclupts before I started with Tracer and I overestimated myself. Now that I know how complicated this is I respect Renaud Galand even more. You can find his original high poly model at his Artstation https://www.artstation.com/artwork/W3RKX Sculpting took about 100 hours. Retopo and UV Unwrapping around 15 hours. I REALLY learnd alot with this project, but not enough. As you can see my normal map doesn’t look so nice. So next on my list is to get better at retopo.
