Track Wheel for Screen Door

Track Wheel for Screen Door

My wife picked up a replacement adjustable screen for our sliding glass door, but unfortunately the wheels that came with it were too small to reach the top and bottom of the track. After being annoyed that the door barely opened and closed by sliding metal against metal I figured maybe I could just print replacements. Thankfully a little time in Sketchup and and printing solved my problem! I made the wheels big enough to reach the top and bottom tracks and now the door works great! For installation, I drilled holes for the axles near the original wheels and used a heated leather working tool to melt both ends of the axles in place. Instructions I printed each part in PLA (although Nylon would be better for wear) using a 0.6mm nozzle. I also used 2 shells, 3 solid top and bottom layers, and 60% infill for strength.
