You can see these tracks in action via Youtube: https://youtu.be/uqSq6HeBsf4 I am building a robotic lawn mower that is both cheaper and smarter than the products available on the market as of February 2022. The design makes heavy use of 3D printing and off the shelf parts where printing is not possible or practical. I hope to sell my design once it is completed in the near future. I kicked off the project by 3D printing the tracks as all the options I found online had very little information and were quite expensive. I loved my design so much that I wanted to share it with other makers. I have tested these tracks on a test rig at 1500 RPM without any sign of problems. They also run well on the mower which is powered by 2 x 50 Watt electric motors running at 430 RPM. If you wanted heaps of power, you could use the 5202 series motors that goBUILDA makes. Otherwise Polulu makes a decent 12 Watt motor. Both options come with an encoder. https://www.gobilda.com/yellow-jacket-planetary-gear-motors/ https://core-electronics.com.au/19-1-metal-gearmotor-37dx68l-mm-12v-with-64-cpr-encoder-helical-pinion.html The drive gear is designed to fit a electric motor with a 6mm D-shaft. However you can edit the files to suit your needs. Please note that you will need M3 x 50 mm SHCS Bolts and M3 nyloc nuts to join each of the track segments together. AIMS Industrial is a great site for fasteners if your based in Australia. https://www.aimsindustrial.com.au/m3-x-50-socket-head-cap-screw-plain-g12.9-box-of-1 If you want to customise the tracks you can screw on your own track shoes using some standard 5G or 6G countersunk screws. N.B The pitch of the track is 24 mm. The 8 and 11 Tooth sprockets are designed to fit 15 mm I.D bearings. The 5 Tooth sprockets are designed to take 10 mm I.D Bearings. I used 6802 and 6800 bearings respectively from AliExpress. https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=SB_20220205163842&SearchText=6802 This would make a great set of tracks for a 3D printed tank also, Enjoy!
