Trade Bars

Trade Bars

thingiverse

In preparing to use physical currency for my D&D game, I decided I didn't want to print thousands of coins. So to make up for it, I designed these trade bars, to represent 20 and 50 pieces of whatever material you choose to paint them. Since 5th Edition has all coins weighing the same, the same should be true for their bars. So, with that in mind: 50 of any coin is 1lb, as is roughly a 500g bar of real world gold. I took those dimensions and made the 50 coin bar. Then cut the size down to 40% for the 20 coin bar. They were designed for a Norse themed world of mine, but can function in probably any fantasy setting.
