Filament Spool Holder designed in solidworks. You can print in one piece if your printer can fit it or print in separate pieces. The cut out on the top fits a .25 inch piece of tubing like I have used or anything you have. I super glued the separate pieces together and they seem to be holding up. Should hold the spool off the surface enough to spin freely. Also worked well with http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:436112. Unfortunately my printer wasn't big enough to print the whole piece at once so I had to cut it in half and scale it down and by doing that the height was off which explains why there is a block underneath it. Its big enough to raise the spool off the surface to spin freely.
