This Stena transformable multi-keel ship hull design concept seeks to help reduce friction of movement across the sea, provide advanced stability control for reducing roll to the port and starboard, and potentially minimizing the effect of yaw while in transit. The center portions of the ships hull remain in a fixed position while the outer multi-segmented pontoon like hull segments can be positioned further outward at varying angles along the length of the ship independent of each other in order to increase stability, pulled vertically to navigate shallower waters, as well as inward in order to fit through tighter shipping channels, access through water navigational locks, and for docking operations. Each end of the vessel is designed to act as the bow and stern depending on direction of travel desired thus becoming more efficient and saving energy as well.
