Remix of HLMAX thing:349502 FPV LCD Holder. This holder is resized to hold the Galaxy s4.(S7 see 4/2016 or Kindle Fire 7 see 4/2017) But for this mix you do not need to print the battery holder, since I am not using the LCD. Instead I just printed a portion of the battery holder so I could screw the arms on to the FS TH9X transmitter. I also modified the left and right side holder so that the phone tray, can easily be folded up for storage and transport in my Microcopter Pro case. Update 4-11-2016, I added the holder for a galaxy S7 (with a slip case on it). Update 4-4-2017. I added the holder for a Kindle Fire 7 inch. Works GREAT!. So this base is similar to the S4 and S7 holder with a snug snap fit to press the fire into place. (same method - use pvc glue to hold the holder to the hinge, and you are good to go. The fit is just using the raw Kindle without a case or cover. ($39 on Amazon now, and used for $27!) OK OK, for those of you who do not think that snug fit is good enough (pickie pickie), I uploaded Kindle Fire 7 with lip, to add an extra layer of grip to the holder. But youi will have to use supports to print this one. Instructions I custom made the Galaxy S4 holder so that it is a tight fit with a rolled lip on each top and bottom. The phone simply snaps into place and snaps out. it holds very snug, but not snug enough to damage the phone. To fasten the phone holder to the mount, I simply used a small dab of PVC cement (The kind used to weld pvc pipes together) to attach the phone holder to the flat piece (LCD Hinge) on top of the remote. Press it together and in about 5 minutes you have a super strong weld.
