This simple low profile fishing rod holder can accommodate both right and left handed fishers with up to three rods. The entire product can be manufactured out of one (76.2 mm x 76.2 mm x 127 mm) block of any eco-friendly material. Here it is rendered in teak, stainless steal, and aluminum. All of which are highly resistant to water damage and are highly durable to continuous use. It is even compact enough to be made by a 3D printer using recycled plastic. The rod holder is attached to the canoe by snapping it onto the rim. Place the opening in the holder so that it is orthogonal to the top face of the rim. Press down and rotate the rod holder so that it is flesh with the profile of the canoe. It can easily be be remove by using the finger grip to reverse the application process. The design follows the profile provided in order to be universal on all Trapper Canoes.
