This is an early example, I hope to do further work at a later time. For anyone else doing the challenge, there are profiles for the boat in the main files. I ended up scaling an early model of my canoe to fit the rod holder so the boat is a little rough around the edges but that's why I included profiles so anyone else could advance on them. Additional components/elements that will be added include screws/bolts/fixing. Materials: materials used will mainly be biodegradable whilst maintaining a high tensile strength. Although more research into this needs to be done to determine which material is the most suiting. Production: depending on materials used, individual parts could be made on a press, through casting or even 3D printing. Design advantages: 360° x 270° rotation achieved. Blends that enhance strength (allowing bigger fish to be caught without worry) the blends also complement the Trapper brand mimicking the design flow, trying to keep with a traditional yet original feel. Easy positioning through adjustable nuts. Simple positioning for rod through location "ribs" I plan to modify the rod holder so different sized rods can fit. (This can be achieved by extruding location ribs through the rod holders diameter. Also dimensions will be done closer to competition ending If you use the boat profiles please leave a like and a comment so I can check out your designs. Best of luck everyone.
