Savages at the new trash collection company broke the lid clean off our barrel! I came up with this as a fix. Print two of the “Lid Fix.stl” and 8 of the "5x30mm Peg.stl" (fixing pins/pegs). The rings should just bend and sort of snap on to the handle of the barrel and the fixing pins/pegs go through the holes above and below the plate to keep it in place (maybe add a drop of glue too). When in doubt just look at the pictures (it's not Kerberos!).

NOTE: The .scad I used to make this is included so if your barrel has slightly different configuration/sizing it should be pretty easy to make adjustments!

For mine I sandwiched E6000 between the plate and the barrel before screwing everything in. Not sure if that was necessary but it can't hurt anything (it'll keep the water out at least).

I used PETG but Nylon or PCTPE would probably be a better choice. PETG doesn't get along well with the sun so I coated mine with Krylon UV protect which should ensure that the sun doesn't bother it for a long, long time.
