Trashrail 3000: The Super Cheap DIY Linear Rail System

thingiverse

I am working on a super cheap and inexpensive 3D printer, that I call the "Trashfire 3000", and I have come to notice that linear solutions for cheap printers are sometimes difficult to true up, and can be costly. So I came up with a linear rail mechanism that uses F623 flange bearings and costs very little to build. Flat bar is like a dollar a foot, and the flange bearings are 20 to 40 cents a piece on ebay. Parametric scad file included so you can play around or add whatever you need to the sled to get it to work.
