This case holds 4 LP-E8 batteries and 3 sd cards. I designed it for an upcoming trip I'm taking where I need quite a bit of battery capacity and storage. The top is a press fit, and there are cutouts to accommodate the terminals and tabs on the batteries for a nice, tight fit. I wouldn't recommend putting the top on this case without batteries installed, though. The batteries keep the top from going on too far. It's very hard to get the top off if you push it all the way on with no batteries installed. The best way I found to do it is to stick a metal spatula between the top and bottom on one end of the box and pry the spatula left and right. Switch sides and repeat until the top comes off. I have included a plated version of the top and bottom for your convenience. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 1 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 Infill: 25% Notes: 25% infill makes this case pretty solid. I don't think you would need any more. As with all press-fit applications, your printer has to be tuned well in order for this to work. Otherwise, you may need to do some light sanding to the inside of the cover to make it fit properly.
