Travel Puzzle Chess Board

Travel Puzzle Chess Board

Fully interlocking puzzle chess board. Inspired by the idea of some of the other chess boards that I saw, but I didn't like the idea of the board looking like puzzle pieces, so the interlocking components of the board are on the underside of the squares. You can, however, put it together "upside down" for a puzzle look. The tolerance is designed so that the pieces don't quite snap into place, but stay together well on a flat surface. Scaling up or down may impact tolerance, as may your printer quality/settings. Squares are 40mmx40mm (excluding the puzzle tabs) for a nice travel board. You will need to print: 32 squares (color 1) 32 squares (color 2) 4 corner pieces 12 side pieces 80 pieces total, though you can print a lot at once (depending on the size of your printer) Print Settings Printer: MonoPrice Select Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 20% Notes: I used PLA at 230 degrees and a first layer height of 100% and had no issue with interlocking the pieces, without needing to de-burr.
