Traxxas Slash 2wd HCG Chassis Saver

This is a very simple chassis saver I designed for my Traxxas Slash 2wd with High Centre of Gravity chassis. Proline used to make these a few years ago to eliminate the weak spot where the transmission bolts to the chassis. Unfortunately, when Proline started making their own chassis, they stopped making these. PLEASE NOTE! This part should not be 3D printed. The part should be either CNC or hand cut out of aluminium. I used 3mm thick sheet for mine, and used the STL file to print a layer or two to act as a template for cutting, drilling, and filing by hand. The chassis saver requires 2 holes be drilled under the ESC mount, as shown in the pictures, and you will need 2 M4x12 countersunk bolts and 2 M3x25 cap head bolts (these replace the 2 orignal chassis to transmission bolts). You could add a third M4 bolt through drain hole under the ESC, but I don't think this is really necessary.
