Traxxas T-maxx electric motor mount conversion

Edit: finally got the single speed and forward only kits. heres a quick video of testing: https://youtu.be/nHdsdEA_GII using a Traxxas xl-10 esc and 12t 550 motor. The mount stood up to a full speed crash into a tree too. Gearing is slightly limited with this mount. i used a 21t pinion and 72t spur gear but had some heat issues. The 21t is as small as you can go with the 72t spur before the motor hits the transmission case. i made some slots in the chassis and used velcro straps to hold the battery down. You'll need longer screws to attach the motor and i suggest using washers. i included a pic of the type of screw you'll need for the mount. It uses existing holes in the chassis The plan is to get the single speed and forward only kits then mess around with the gearing some more but for now the mount works so i figured id share it on here.
