In grade 4 and grade 5 in Alberta we begin looking at land use and treaties. This map was created based on a map found in Education is Our Buffalo (the link is below). More puzzles that separate Alberta in different ways are coming (physiological regions, voting, etc.). Meant to help students think critically about our past, present, and future as well as boundaries that separate us.
