Using internal batteries, Linear Resonance Actuators, and an accelerometer it would be able to detect and counteract the rhythmic forces in the arm, helping the patient cope with a much reduced tremor. This ring sized one would be worn on the pointer finger to make it easier for the patient to do things such as write and use touchscreens and track pads. It could also be paired with the wrist version to help patients at both the finger and wrist level. I was inspired by noise canceling headphone technology and by pace detection for running applications. Once the accelerometer detects the tremor pace, timing and direction it would create a force to oppose these uncontrollable rhythmic moments. It could also track the occurrences of these tremors and analyse this data. Also, the potential psychologically induced tremors could be reduced because the patient would notice them less often and would be able to deal with them easily.
