Free design files for 3D Chess board from popular Sci-Fi series. Configurable into any of the three tournament chess board forms. Built using Inkscape following the Ponoko design criteria. Intended for .118 wood or Acrylic plastic laser cut. Three 4x4 square boards, six 2x2 squares with supports and support stand. Instructions Download the free files from http://www.ponoko.com/design-your-own/products/tri-dimensional-support-8106 http://www.ponoko.com/design-your-own/products/tri-dimensional-chess-board-from-popular-sci-fi-series--8105 assemble supports onto 2x2 squares by inserting into holes locate the bottom y cross beam and insert into bottom 4x4 board insert the bottom x cross beam along center of bottom 4x4 board locate the two identical vertical supports place on either side of the x cross beam and align to the holes place equal number of base supports on either side of vertical supports align holes insert machine screws through entire Base and bolt together using nuts insert Large C-shaped support between vertical supports align holes and bolt together with machine screws and nuts attach middle y beam onto middle 4x4 board attach onto middle support repeat steps 11 and 12 for top 4x4 board Insert 2x2 boards with supports onto desired location of 4x4 boards per type of 3D chess style selected Populate board with chess pieces Live Long and Prosper!!
