Tri-Glide Webbing Slide (Threaded and No-Thread)

prusaprinters

This is a simple tri-glide webbing slide for 1" webbing. There is a threaded and no-thread version.

Design parameters:

The webbing slots are sized for 1" webbing (actual width is 27 mm)

The pass-through slot on the no-thread version is slightly offset for easier installation

All edges are chamfered for smooth handling

Selecting a version:

Threaded: The webbing must be threaded through (or sewn on, depending on how you are using it). This is a good option for a permanent installation.

No-thread: This has a slot in the middle bar so you can put it over an existing strap without disassembling it. This is a good option when you can't unthread an existing buckle that's in the way, or for when you want to be able to remove it easily.

Printing tips:

Print as-oriented in the .stl files

Safety notes:

Do not use this in a safety-of-life application.

This piece is a choking hazard for small children.

Other notes:

My design is fully parameterized; if you'd like a modification (such as different webbing width), please message me and I'll be happy to help!
