Mathematics is a fascinating subject that extends beyond geometry and into algebra as well. An equilateral triangle can be dissected in numerous ways, allowing its pieces to be reassembled into other shapes. We have two dissections here, each capable of transforming an equilateral triangle into two regular hexagons, consisting of six pieces. Symmetry plays a crucial role in these activities. The pieces used in the dissections are 4mm thick; the triangular side lengths are 50mm and 80mm respectively.
