I finally got around to making some of the needed modifications to my previous triple axis tourbillon design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2090912). Check it out for the listing of non-printed components (with links) and a brief and highly suspect lesson in horology. Improvements include the following: - Fork now includes a guard pin for increased reliability. - Flats cut into shafts. The previous version relied on friction, so parts wore out very quickly. - Improved ball race without an insertion hole. No more airsoft pellets making bids for freedom. - Added gear teeth to the ball race in case I want to make it weight powered at some point.
