In this project the student will learn about the tribal mask of Madhya Pradesh, India referred to as ‘’Mukhada’’. These facial masks are wore in festivals and rituals dances. They use locally available and most inexpensive materials for the making these masks. Usually pumpkin-hollows, waste paper, card board and wood is used in designing the ingenious masks. For an unknown reason, the tribal neither exhibit nor agree to discuss about their masks.
