This print has only been printed with PLA the plan is to use ABS in the future I remade my tricopter from 9 years ago and wanted dedicated motor mounts this time. The tilt mount requires you to drill a hole in it for the servo linkage. These mounts slide directly over the 1/2 wood dowel. In the pictures of the actual drone you can see how I used the mounts. These mounts increase the rigidity of the (pine) wood dowels that I used. They aren't glued on. Every dowel rod is not cut exactly the same way . I put tape over one of the arms of the tricopter because it was a little loose. On the tilt mount I am using a 2.5inx0.16 dia machine screw that screws directly into the main arm of the tricopter.I leave it loose enough so that it can tilt freely. I printed these parts @ 20% infill and the screws for the motors sunk the plastic in I reprinted them @ 50% infill but have yet to test them. I also included dowel sleeves that slip over the wood on the tilt leg so that even if the wood would crack the sleeve would keep it together. 1/2in wood pine dowel 1/8in compress board for the FC frame Motors used: 2207 1800Kv iFlight xing-E motor FC: KK2.1 nonflashed Zeee 3700mah 4s battery Full size RC truck servo
