Here is another improved left extruder cooling duct for the FashForge creator pro with before and after performance examples. I measured and created the existing duct in SolidWorks. From this design, I created a duct that directs the air inward from three radial directions. This is a drop in replacement with no interference issues in a standard machine purchased in Jan 2016. There are files for both SLA and FDM manufacture - be sure to use the correct STL file when printing. The picture shows an SLA test print, and an FDM test print with the old style duct and the new duct. Meltink Cool White PLA/PHA is used with an extruder temperature of 220C and the heated bed at 60C for the FDM models. The extruder temperature is close to the limit for that material (230C) to exacerbate the need for cooling. The results are clear.
