I created this simple rule so that the students of the schools have a pocket element that will help them identify the basic trigonometric properties in the classes, as well as be able to use it as compasses and draw circles. SOH CAH TOA means: SOH stands for Sine equals Opposite over Hypotenuse. CAH stands for Cosine equals Adjacent over Hypotenuse. TOA stands for Tangent equals Opposite over Adjacent.
