TriGorilla Board Mount for Anycubic Kossel Linear Plus It seems the purpose of a 3D printer really is to make more 3D printer parts... This time it's time to update the mount for the old TriGorilla board as I'm not that happy the PCB is only secured at one end - not good for long term reliability. While I'm at it: -It might as well have a glamor panel for the sockets -And an integrated power cable tidy My main goal here is to mount the PCB more securely, ie at both ends, with minimal use of filament. So if you're after a properly enclosed solution there are better options to be found here on Thingiverse... just be sure to go for one with a fan if you intend to cover up those drivers! Mounting: You can reuse the allen bolts and t-nuts from the factory mount but you'll need two more pairs to attach the mounts for the other end of the PCB The bolt holes are toleranced to be a snug fit so once together everything will be nice and secure. You will also need two extra pairs of nuts and bolts where the PCB attaches to the smaller mounts... although I guess one could leave the PCB just to rest on them if you're feeling so inclined. gorilla_mount_large.stl - replaces the factory mounting bracket gorilla_mount_small.stl - print two of these to support the other end of the PCB AnyCubic_Upgrade.stl - not for printing!
