Backplate for Trimui Model S / Powkiddy A66 with extended space for a 523450 Li-Po battery.

WARNING : Opening, modifying your handheld may void your warranty. I will take no responsability if you break something.

To do this mod you will need a 523450 Li-Po battery, T6 screwdriver and basic soldering skills.

EDIT: Added a remixed STL using less material, looking good for transparent material.

EDIT 2: Added a 6.7mm version with 0,5mm extra room for the battery. If you feel a bump when closing the device, this version may fit better.

You may like my TPU sleeve design and D-pad mod for a little more stiffness, available here on printables.com.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

I3 MK3S

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

.20

Infill:

15%

Filament:
Any PETG or PLA

Notes:

Some people reported that they can't screw the custom backplate to their devices. I have calibrated the model using my own printer and indeed it may need some clearance. If you experience this, increasing the width of the model in your slicer from 106mm to 107mm should give you a perfect print.
Thanks @tiduscrying for the tip !

Category: Electronics
