Trinket-Powered Window Candle

Trinket-Powered Window Candle

This candle is designed with a slot in the base for an [Adafruit Trinket](https://www.adafruit.com/product/1501). You'll need to run wires up to the flame and install an LED. I'm using an [8mm through-hole Neopixel LED](https://www.adafruit.com/product/1734). You only need three wires (power, ground, data in) for this since it's just one LED. You could also just use a flickering or color-changing LED and an appropriate battery. Evil Mad Scientist has a [great collection of LEDs with a candle effect](https://shop.evilmadscientist.com/productsmenu/189). Print with whatever settings your printer prefers. I had a lot of luck on an Ultimaker 3 with both the candle on its side and minimal support (I rotated each piece until I saw a support configuration that I liked). I hot-glued the LED to the flame, and then inserted the LED leads into three female header extensions, and ran the wires through the top slot. You will want to play with the height of the flame and use hot glue or putty to hold it in place.
