While trying to install my new Danalock V3 SCANDI smart lock on my door, I encountered difficulty attaching the plate to the door properly. Online solutions suggested using a water hose and mounting the plate upside down, but I didn't have a water hose handy. I had access to my 3D printer and limited design skills, so I decided to create an adapter. After searching online, I found that someone had already designed an adapter for the Trioving 5116 lock on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1603304), but it didn't fit my lock perfectly - the center hole was not fully centered and it was too wide. Undeterred, I decided to design my own adapter that would fit my specific lock. After some trial and error, I came up with a design that worked for me. I printed it with 10% infill and mounted the plate upside down with the "U" downwards, and it fit just fine.
