Triple Shotshell Carrier, 12 gauge

Front and back halves for a quick-access 3x 12-gauge shotshell holder. The holder is open on the sides and front so the shells can be easily lifted out, but will (should!) not fall out on their own. It's faster than typical bandoliers or reaching into a pocket of loose shells. Useful for shooting matches or competitions like 3-gun - which are timed. This was inspired by some much nicer and higher-capacity off-the-shelf designs. Why spend $$$ on a commercial unit when you can spend hours to make your own much smaller, much crappier version? :D Instructions Print out both halves (each is subtly different to accomodate the front or rear of 12 gauge shells.) After printing out each half, you will need to attach them to a rigid backing of your choosing. I used a square of Sintra and E-6000 glue, but you could also use screws. Use some 12 gauge shells to make sure you have the right spacing. The shells should sit securely but loosely in the carrier and move easily but be retained by the top "clips". Secure the assembled carrier to a belt with some zip straps. Use it by reaching down, grasping the next available shell, then lifting it up and out of the carrier. If the shells are being retained too stiffly, use a file to trim down the inner parts of the clips at the top of each side until they are retained, but can be pulled out easily.
