<p>A triangular coffee-dripper stand for pour-over coffee.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>WHY?</h3><p>Because I keep breaking coffee carafes, I wanted a method of making coffee that lets me drip the coffee into <i>anything</i> - measuring cups, bowls, pint glasses, anything - without having to precariously balance a cone filter on top of something.</p><p>This was designed to:</p><ul><li>fit under a 3L Zorijushi hot water boiler spigot</li><li>allow a variety of vessels underneath, including:<ul><li>automatic coffee maker carafes</li><li>a 4-cup pyrex measuring cup</li></ul></li><li>compatible with a variety of filter cones, including:<ul><li>Bonavita #4 ceramic cone</li><li><a href="https://www.sweetmarias.com/clever-coffee-dripper-with-filters.html">Clever Coffee Dripper</a> (#4 filter size)</li></ul></li></ul><p>(Also, it occurs to me that it looks a lot like “the eye of providence", aka <a href="https://gravityfalls.fandom.com/wiki/Bill_Cipher">Bill Cipher</a>)</p><h3><strong>PRINTING</strong></h3><p><strong>There are 2 versions here. </strong>Both of them should be <strong>printed upside-down</strong>, with the legs sticking up into the air. I'd recommend <strong>big layers</strong>, and <strong>at least 40% grid infill</strong>.</p><figure class="table"><table><tbody><tr><td><img class="image-style-align-left image_resized" style="width:50%;" src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/206492/rich_content/6f80c982-f0b9-430b-a233-7410f9445369/curved-render.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%226ece23ce-19d7-4f73-a31d-b7421b9eecb3%22%2C%22w%22%3A800%2C%22h%22%3A600%7D"><code>tripod_dripper_curved.stl</code> : use <strong>support on the build plate </strong>to make sure that the indentation on the surface prints well (I did not use support for my print, and in the photos, you'll see some major defects in the surfaces)</td></tr><tr><td><img class="image-style-align-right image_resized" style="width:50%;" src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/206492/rich_content/3b16a2b6-f4d8-4ef9-b4d5-ab33c5d8b4a3/chamfered-render.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22483e67ee-18de-42b5-ae64-2d91873f3ddb%22%2C%22w%22%3A800%2C%22h%22%3A600%7D"><code>tripod_dripper_chamfered.stl</code>: This version uses chamfers instead of fillets, so it <i>might </i>not need support. However, I haven't printed it yet.</td></tr></tbody></table></figure><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Material: </strong>I used Polymaker PolyLite PLA. I have not noticed any deformation due to heat. In normal use, the stand does not come into direct contact with food or food surfaces, so food safety is not a concern. However, long-term, it might be good to apply some soft of water-tight sealant to prevent coffee spills from seeping into the cracks.</p>
