I bought a small, inexpensive webcam from Amazon, the "MAXHUB UC W10". The particular one I bought was rebadged as "Enther" but it's the same device. It came with a little plastic support that was supposed to hold it on top of your monitor, but it didn't quite work for me. This is a replacement for the built-in support. The hole in the back is sized to accept a press-fit threaded insert with a standard 1/4"-20 tripod screw. After using a soldering iron to insert the threads I screwed it into a SMALLRIG Magic Arm clamped to my monitor stand. Any other attachment method would work, feel free to remix with other connectors if something else works for you. The original stand is held on to the webcam's metal body with a single screw on the bottom. To remove it, use a slotted screwdriver or knife blade to remove (or cut through) the rubber sticker in the part of the plastic stand on the underside of the part that attaches to the camera. After printing and inserting the threads, use the screw to hold it on the flat part of the print. The protrusion should fit into a gap on the underside of the camera to keep it from rotating. Print with the flat side on the printer bed so the protrusion points up.
