Velbon QB-6RL quick release plate for use with the Velbon D-600, D-700, CX-686 and DV-7000. You may find it will also fit other tripods with a small amount of adjustment. The STL and original OpenSCAD source files are provided. Instructions Designed using OpenSCAD. The source design file is attached if you need to modify it for your own tripod. I made mine using the attached STL file. Sliced with CURA and build on an Ultimaker Original at 0.2mm layer height using PLA. Although there are some small overhangs you don't need to add a support structure. The design is simple and should build reasonably well on any 3D filament type printer. This model will be used as a tutorial example in a forthcomiing book on how to design for 3D printing.
