Triton Sliding Table - Knob

An easily printable plastic knob to house an M8 thread nut (12.8mm hex head). This particular knob replaces that used to secure the height of the sliding table. This was the first of the many plastic parts to break on my Triton Workcentre, and sourcing a replacement from Britain was far too costly. Print Settings Printer: Modified K8200 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .35mm nozzle with .42mm extrusion width. Layer height was .24mm Infill: 45% or more due to the intended use of the part Notes: Exporting from inventor has flipped the piece on its side, Rotate -90 degrees on the x-axis so that the base is flat on the print bed. Post-Printing Preferably print with ABS and cold vapour bath for 1-2 hours to match the existing piece and increase the strength of the part. How I Designed This This was the first part I have modeled using a student license of Autodesk Inventor.
