Triumph Tiger 800 Fender Weak Spot Fix Plate

This is a plate which attempts to fix the notoriously weak mount point of the fender of Triumph Tiger 800 XC and other models from the 800 range which share the same fender design. It's 3mm thick and requires two extra holes drilled in the fender. It uses additional mounting bolts, nuts and locking washers: x4 (bolt) A2 DIN 7991 M4 L=10mm x4 (nut) A2 DIN 934 M4 x4 (locking washer) A2 DIN 127 M4 It's recommended to use threadlocker on all four bolts. It's also highly advisable to replace the two original fender mounting bolts with their longer versions: x2 A2 ISO 14583 Torx M6 L=16mm (original is L=12mm). Make sure you align the plate properly as shown in the photos - it has 2 points where it touches against an extruded edge on the fender and the plate hole should be aligned with the fender mount hole.
