<p>Model of yeast Phenylalanine transfer RNA from 1TRA.pdb in various representations.&nbsp; I made this to use it for teaching Biochemistry and Structural Biology.</p><p>Segmentation Software : Cura (Any 3D slicer will work)<br>3D Modeling/CAD Software : Chimera</p><p>Printer Technology/Material : Polylactic Acid (PLA)<br>Printer Make/Model : Creality Ender 5 Pro<br>Print Units : mm<br>Scale At Given Print Units : 200x, surface model - 175x</p><p>Pre- and Postprocessing Instructions&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Cartoon/ladder:</strong><br>The model was re-orientated using the Auto-orientation plugin in Cura. Printed at 0.2 resolution with wall 4 lines and&nbsp; 20% infill. I have used concentric&nbsp;supports and found to be easier to remove. Nothing snapped during the supports removal. This was an easy print.</p><p><strong>Cartoon:</strong><br>The model was re-orientated using the Auto-orientation plugin in Cura. Printed at 0.2 resolution with wall 6 lines and&nbsp; 20% infill. I have used concentric&nbsp;supports, but this time were difficult to remove, especially in between the base-pairs.&nbsp;Nothing snapped during the supports removal though.</p><p><strong>Surface:&nbsp;</strong><br>The model was re-orientated using the Auto-orientation plugin in Cura. Printed at 0.2 resolution with wall 6 lines and&nbsp; 20% infill. I have used tree supports and were easy to remove.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Balls and sticks:</strong><br>The model was re-orientated using the Auto-orientation plugin in Cura. Printed at 0.2 resolution with wall 6 lines and&nbsp; 20% infill. I have used concentric&nbsp;supports, but I had difficulties removing them. The model snapped into several pieces in the process. I managed to glue it back together, but I would not print this again unless I could print the support with a soluble material.&nbsp;</p>
